I have always loved this place and that love continues on. I've been a couple times recently and both times were delightful. One night I went and they have tomato Parmesan soup. Sooooooooooo yummy!!!!!! I ordered a grilled cheese add bacon along with it. Wow what a pairing!!!!! The second visit was because they had a French onion grilled cheese. It was good but I wish it'd been a little thicker and filled with the goodies. But trust me, the flavor was there. Along with that, I ordered sweet potato chips, one of my favorite sides.

Quant spot with good vibes. Not good for large groups in the winter, during warmer months outdoor seating could accommodate larger groups. Typically they are busy and there's a wait to be seated. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Menu has a good selection and they have full bar service. My favorite is the Mayflower with a side of tater tots. Their pasta salad is a popular option.

We had a solid dining experience with our large group with several kids. They were able to seat us at a large table outside under space heaters for a Saturday brunch. Food wise it was upscaled versions of American food classics. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese was fine though I wish there were a few more tomatoes for the price. The burgers are well done with quality ingredients and portion sizes are large. Inside were plenty of tv's to catch the game. The parking lot is a bit small but lots of street parking nearby.

Visited LPFS on a bustling Friday afternoon, and as expected, it was packed. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad, but parking is definitely a challenge. While there's limited parking at the restaurant itself, there are plenty of street spots nearby if you're willing to walk a bit. The ambience was lively, with a lot of energy in the air. It's clear this is a popular spot, and the area around it added to the vibrant feel. However, the service was a bit of a letdown. It seemed somewhat haphazard and not particularly attentive, which could be due to the rush, but it did affect the overall experience. We ordered the salmon special with sun-dried tomato pasta, the red pepper hummus roll, and the cold chicken salad. The food was good--solid and enjoyable, though not particularly standout. It was satisfying, but nothing that left a lasting impression. Overall, LPFS is a lively spot with a good atmosphere and decent food. If you're looking for a vibrant place to eat, it's worth a visit, though service might vary depending on how busy it is.

Loved the quaint atmosphere. Food was great. Ashley answered all my questions & provided helpful feedback. My hubby had the Rueben & devoured it! I had The Northridge, which is a veggie wrap. My only suggestion would be less hummus next time. We tried the Playbill, Red Blend & it was yummy. Thank you for the suggestion Ashley!

Recently grabbed lunch at LPFS and it was yummy. We started with the fried pickles and they were pretty good. I think the batter needed a little more seasoning but I liked the sauce to dip them in. I ordered the englewood with pasta salad. The pasta salad was really good. The sandwich was good as well. I wish it had more sauce on it but other than that it was really good. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

For a Friday night (after dinner rush around 7:30pm-ish), I was surprised this place wasn't more crowded. The ambiance was relaxed, it offers 2 small rooms with bar seating and tables as well as patio seating with heaters. We opted to sit inside due to children and the breezy, crisp fall night. It appeared they had a college football game on tv mounted to wall. The tv screen was a bit small--I couldn't read it from the distance I was sitting--but with limited wall space, I'll blame it on an old prescription. Menu provides a variety of options appetizers, soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and dessert. Theme appeared to be farm to table. I ordered a Combo: 1/2 Northridge wrap w/1/2 Westdale salad (similar option in different forms--my bad ), my husband ordered The Berkshire wrap (the chipotle ketchup was a bit spicy for his liking) w/potato salad, the older kid ordered The Mayflower (sans provolone and red pepper) w/fries, and the younger kid had PB&J with tater tots. Everly arrived to everyone's liking and appropriate temperature. The waitstaff was personable, attentive, and friendly. They even honored my daughter's request for a Shirley Temple! Pricing was reasonable and affordable, although the indoor seating was limited, it seems like a great place to meet up with friends, catch a delicious bite to eat or drink, and/or engage in meaningful conversation. We will definitely be back!

This is my daughter and my favorite spot! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu! We truly enjoy the atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food!

We decided to visit Lindley Park Filling Station with some family from out of town. The experience is always excellent! We ordered the Parmesan crab dip and cornmeal pickle chips. Both were divine. Perfect flavor and texture. I ordered the Crab Cake sandwich with jalapeño tartar sauce. It was really good but I would have liked if it were spicer. The service was good despite being understaffed on a Holiday weekend Saturday evening. One hundred percent recommended!

One of the best places in Greensboro hands down. Their food is amazing! My favorite of all time is the Beechwood with their pasta salad; it's so sooo good. They're always consistent, and the staff are always friendly, fast and efficient. I love the little outfit patio seating on a nice day too, it's the perfect little spot. I brought my mom here when she came to visit me from Florida and she was floored by how amazing the food was. This place is an absolute gem, my husband and I come here all the time! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.
